You - "Chief, Turn on the Ground Power" Chief - "Copy" Chief - "Ground Power is now On"
In cockpit - Ground Power Panel - Forward of the throttles

The aircraft is fully powered.
A Channel is a limited set of systems powered from Channel A of each of the 4 Bus. B Channel is powering both A and B channels, so all 4 bus means a fully powered aircraft. The 3 seconds are required to conduct an Avionics Overheat BIT test.
Once the first engine is running and its generator providing power, these Bus switches will revert to AUTO automatically. Don't forget:

"\" - Open the DCS communications menu - Top right of screen "F8" - Ground Crew... "F2" - Ground Electric Power... "F2" - Off
You - "Chief, Turn off the Ground Power" Chief - "Copy" Chief - "Ground power is now Off"
